Real Madrid star is now the top goalscorer in European Championship history after scoring a late winner in Portugal’s 1-0 win over Armenia.
He became the highest goal scorer in European Championship history following his 71st minute strike against Armenia on Friday.He has 23 goals in European qualification and finals combined. It was his 25th goal of the season for club and country, and settled a dour affair which offered little in the way of attacking quality.
